Dorrie Paynter, founder of Leapfrog Marketing Research, is on the Board of Directors of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), and is a trainer at the RIVA Moderator Training Institute in Maryland.

Prior to starting Leapfrog Marketing Research in 1995, Dorrie worked for eight years in the dynamic New York advertising industry. She managed the Oxy Acne Medicine account at Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor and spearheaded a comprehensive brand restage exploratory, including a succession of qualitative research projects. Before that, she directed the Instant Quaker Oatmeal business where she initiated and implemented a highly successful kid-targeted effort. Dorrie began her career in advertising at DDB Needham Worldwide where she managed several new product introductions on the Clairol account.

Dorrie grew up near Boston, Massachusetts, is an honors graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont and now lives with her husband and two young daughters in San Francisco.
